My Travels was born as a line of accessories inspired by the symbolic monuments of important cities of art, as original elements of memory of places visited on trips actually experienced or just imagined. In the suitcase of memories, these accessories mix like fragments of emotions experienced over time or like pieces of a single great ideal city.
Today, central elements of the MyTravels Florence brand are the artistic creations by Daniele Calamandrei, through the inlay of colored fragments or with other processing techniques. They give life to unique pieces, like real art objects to use or wear, whether they represent an unusual reading of cherished places or whether they are inspired by important works of modern art, or whether they offer interpretations or representations of current issues or specific decorative themes.

Small pendant "Florence - Dome by Brunelleschi", in galvanized brass and enamel, with hook
Small pendant inspired by the dome of Florence Cathedral, designed by Brunelleschi in the fifteenth century, inventing techniques and machinery absolutely innovative. By the time it was the largest dome in the world and remains the largest masonry dome ever built. It inspired Michelangelo Buonarroti for the construction of the dome of St. Peter's in the Vatican.
The pendant My Travels dedicated to it evokes three of the eight sides that form, with changing colors as to represent the nuances of light generated by the sun in some phases of the day. Handmade by florentine craftsmen galvanized brass and enamel, with hook. It can be worn as charms on the bracelet, necklace, on keychain or as a decoration of a bag, a wallet or another clothing accessory.
